Summertime Cool

Hi Prepsters,

This summer has been HOT! Over the past few weeks, Toronto has been under a heat blast so I've pieced together an outfit that is perfect to stay cool but chic in.

The off shoulder blouse (Size XL) is from Banana Republic. The material is nice and light, and the blue gingham print is fun. The top also has a slight bell-sleeve, which keeps the top interesting.

These jeans are my absolute favourite because of the look and finish of the distressing. I bought the rockstar jeans (size 16) from Old Navy, and they are available all year round in different colours. They do have a little bit of stretch to them, but I love that they don't lose their shape after you wear them.

For my jewellery I selected silver, and blue toned pieces. Blue and silver always complement each other, and help create a cohesive look. The earrings are from Joe Fresh, and the infinity ring is from a store called Pretty Thingz.

For my bag, I wanted to break the matchy-matchy look up, so I chose this cute pineapple-graphic clutch from Old Navy (unfortunately it has sold out, but they di still have the flamingo one available online).

These slides are from Joe Fresh, and are just a great summer essential. They also came in black and orange. Initially I found them to be a little snug on my feet, but after a wear I was able to break into them.
