Hi Prepsters;

I was recently sent a PR package for the Covergirl Trublend Matte  Made Foundation, and I thought I would share my impression of the foundation with you.

The Trublend Matte foundation is a medium, but build-able coverage, and sets relatively quickly on the skin to a soft matte finish. The foundation covers pores, and leave a flawless look for 10-12 hours. The formulation is targeting girls with oily, or combination skin, but as a girl with dry skin, the formulation worked nicely on me tool

Im wearing the shade T10- Golden Amber, and you can see how flawless the texture of my skin looks (this photo has not been edited in any way)

The Covergirl Trublend Matte Made Foundation is one of the better drugstore foundations that I've used, retailing at just a little over $8 CAD, the price makes it accessible to most.

One of the main reasons I fell in love with this is because it comes in 40 shades. As someone who tends to be in between most drugstore foundation shades, I was extremely excited because it meant that I wouldnt have to buy two bottles and make a colour for myself. (Hooray) The only thing I would recommend is trying a shade slightly lighter because the foundation does oxidize, and become half a shade darker.

The foundation is very light on the skin, and hides pores, and fine lines very well. The pump makes it easy to apply, and control the amount of product released. I highly recommend trying this out if you're looking for a great drugstore foundation with a matte finish. (4/5)
