Pretty In Pink

Hey Prepsters,

I hope you guys had a wonderful new year. Id like to apologize for being a little MIA, I wasn’t feeling my best because I was recovering from the flu. So I thought Id come back with something a little bit brighter, and more of a spring inspired look.

The sweater is a nice pink colour, it was layered with a boyfriend style longer shirt. Both of the pieces were from Reitman’s, and are great transitional articles to go from winter to spring.

For the Jeans I chose a pair of American Eagle Outfitter Tomgirl jeans. There is only a lighter wash available online now though. The distress adds a bit of a contrast to the full preppiness of the outfit, and the cuffing adds more structure to the legs, as well as framing for the shoes.

The shoes are a Nude pump by Jessica, and the simplicity of the shoe both elongates the leg, while keeping the focus on the outfit. DSW carries a lot of similar style shoes, with great prices in mind.
