Bite Beauty's Lip Lab Review - Toronto

Last week I was invited to the Bite Cosmetics Lip Lab to create some custom lipstick shades, so I thought I would share my experience with you guys incase you were considering going. Bite Cosmetics is a brand that manufactures and sells organic, edible (you can, but I don't recommend it) lipsticks and other beauty products.

The Bite Beauty Lip Lab is a fun, and vibrant space where anyone can come in and create, or buy lipsticks. The space is fun but welcoming, making it perfect for bachelorette parties, birthdays, or just a fun outing with friends.

If you're not in the mood to create a custom lipstick, you can always purchase any of the Lipsticks from their line from the store as well

The Bite Lip Lab offers two different experiences. The custom lip service allows you to select one ($55 CAD), or two ( $80 CAD) lip shades from the 200 that Bite Cosmetics offers. You then choose the finish of your choice ( Glossy Sheer, Matte Crème, Amuse Bouche), and the scent (Cherry, Mint, Vanilla, Mango, Violet, Coconut, Wild Berry, Fresh Citrus pick a maximum of two per lipstick) The lipsticks are then moulded into a custom tube designed specifically for the Lip Labs.

I wanted a grey/pink lipstick, as well as a vibrant Rhianna inspired orange colour. The amazing lip artist Bradlee created a beautiful Willy Wonka purple for me as well.

The second experience is the Bespoke Service ($150 CAD per person), in which a lip artist creates two custom lip shades just for you! Just like the custom lip service, you get to choose the finish of your lipstick, as well as the scent. The lipstick tubes are engraved at the end, and you receive a Lip Lab exclusive lip kit which contains a mini Agave Lip Mask, Whipped Cherry Lipscrub, and a mini Line and Define lip primer.

Choose from these nine scents, or create a custom scent by mixing two of them together.

The Bite Lip Lab also has a party room located above the Lip Lab, where you can host your own private lipstick creating event. The space has a private lip bar, sitting space, and outside patio area. You can also bring your own liquor, and catering as well.
