My Updated Skincare Routine

vichy Mineral 89

Hi Prepsters

I was recently sent a few messages about my skincare routine, and even though I had done one a year back, I have changed a few steps now to help keep my skin extra hydrated.

Cleanser: Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm ($39 CAD)

This gentle cleansing balm has quickly become one of my favourites because it really is that good. This product easily breaks down waterproof mascara and eyeliner, while remaining gentle on your skin. I also noticed that this cleanser didn’t make my skin oily or cause me to breakout.

Toner: Thayer’s Witch Hazel Alcohol-Free Toner with Rose Petal ($14 CAD)

A real classic, this rose petal–infused drugstore toner is a dream for those with sensitive and dry skin. Free of alcohol, it will never irritate or overdry, and thanks to a helpful dose of organic aloe vera, it feels oh so soothing after a long day outside in the sun. The brand has been around for the past 145 years, so they’re definitely doing something right.

Serum: Vichy Mineral 89 ($40 CAD)

No matter what my skin concern of the day is, I can always count on mineral 89 to take care of it. This serum is concentrated, and with only a few drops, you’ll notice a change in the texture of your skin and hydration too. Mineral 89 also has a slight plumping effect for your skin, and is great for sheering out your foundation.

Eye Cream: MAC Fast Response Eye Cream ($39 CAD)

The Holy Grail of all eye cream’s is the Fast Response one by MAC Cosmetics. This product has a de-puffing effect and sits beautifully under concealer while creating a smooth and un-textured canvas for your under eye.

Thge Mata Tea Ultra-Firming Face cream has a velvety texture blends instantly into the skin, leaving it immediately firmer and smoother. The natural green color of Matcha Tea performs a concealing action on blemishes, and is perfect for canceling out red tones while brightening your skin.
