Like most new phones coming out on the market, my Pixel 3 does not have a headphone jack, and because of that I have had to research on finding wireless Bluetooth options My three requirements were firstly that the headphones were capable of complete noise cancellation, they need to be sweat-resistant, and the battery life needs to last at least four hours without charge (anything short of four hours is inconvenient in my eyes). The Jabra Elite Active 65t fulfilled all those requirements and brought some extra features that drew me in.

Price

The price for these headphones is around the $200 CAD mark at most retailers, which makes it cheaper than the Apple Airpods while offering a larger number of features, one of them being that the Elite 65T earbuds are much more convenient in terms of the remote control features they have . The Elite 65T have two buttons on each earbuds where you can skip tracks, take calls, control volume levels and more. The Apple AirPods, on the other hand, do not have any buttons.

Features

IP56 rating, while they are not submersible in water, they are resistant to it, meaning that you are able to wear them in the shower or outside in the rain. The headphones are comfortable to wear thanks to the silicone coating, and do not fall out even during strenuous exercise.

The Elite 65T feature four way microphones, two on each earbud. The smaller ones at the tip are designed to pick up your voice, and the larger, outside microphones ones are there to cancel outside noise.

After downloading the Sound+ App by Jabra (available in both the Apple and Google Play Store), you also have access to the sound equalizer, which allows you to customize Sound Modes.

The Jabra headphones have Bluetooth 5.0 ensuring a much faster and improved connection. There is almost double the bandwidth as the previous generation Bluetooth 4.2, which allows for uninterrupted listening.

Jabra Features

In my opinion, The Jabra Elite Active 65t are one of the best headphones I’ve tested. The sound quality, noise cancelling feature, water resistance, HearThrough Sound, and slip free grip, offers premium features for a relatively cheaper price than other headphones on the market. If you are looking for wireless headphones, I highly recommend trying out the The Jabra Elite Active 65t .
